Sam Jae collapses and Sang Woo after checking his father's pulse concludes he needs emergency treatment, so they brought him to the hospital and they learn after he was examined that he collapsed due to sequela of the injuries he sustained when he saved Woo Jae from a car accident. Sang Woo learns that his father tried to save his son-in-law while trying to keep his daughter's secret which led him to think that Seo Young had caused their father to get sick, while Woo Jae both felt shock and remorseful, then Sam Jae's children took care of everything in order for him to undergo an emergency surgery.
On the other hand, a worried Ji Seon who had been distraught after being serenaded by Gi Beom in the end calls Seong Jae to discuss the situation, while Seong Jae who had already anticipated this to happen offers his ingenious plan... (A very smart kid indeed!)
