Finale Predictions for KDrama Faith

With just 3 episodes left until KDrama Faith ends, this is what I think will happen in the remaining episodes. Since most of the characters in this drama are from historical figures, the writer cannot stray too far from reality which can be difficult. So let's see if you guys will agree with me, here it goes:

I. The Third Relic

It's a microscope. Eun Soo is making her own antibiotic to cure the insect poison that Deok Heung injected on her. I think the antibiotic she is culturing is penicillin and you need a microscope to isolate and positively identify the strain of the penicillin just like what its inventor Alexander Fleming did when he first discovered the drug in 1928.

Plus, the writer has already hinted us on this when Eun Soo in a previous episode complained that it will be difficult to create the antibiotic without the use of modern equipment.

II. Is Eun Soo kidnapped?

Likely. Last night's ending scene shows one of the Yuan envoy's men sneak into Choi Young's room surprising Eun Soo. Now the question is who had her kidnapped? 3 men namely Gi Cheol, Deok Heung and the Yuan envoy are desperate to have Eun Soo and they'll exert all efforts to get their hands on her.

So the upcoming episodes will concentrate on Choi Young trying his best to rescue Eun Soo. This will eventually lead to the downfall of the Yuan faction in Goryeo with Choi Young and his men defeating Gi Cheol's army (I think this includes Hwa Soo In and Eum Ja).

III. What will happen to Gi Cheol and Deok Heung?

I am not sure how close writer-nim will follow history but based on records, Gi Cheol along with his family were exterminated by King Gong Min through a coup in 1356. So Gi Cheol will definitely die in the hands of King Gong Min's men (Is it Choi Young?). On the other hand, it is a different story for Deok Heung who confessed where he hid the antidote and the last relic in exchange for his life.

I am convinced that Deok Heung (also named Tas Temur) will survive because the Yuan's tried replacing King Gong Min with Deok Heung in 1356 with the assassination of Gi Cheol as their reason.

IV. King Gong Min and Princess No Gook

I am not sure if writer-nim will delve into the royal couple's lives with only 3 episodes left, so again I am basing my prediction based on historical records. King Gong Min with the help of Choi Young will be successful in deflecting any attempts to dethrone him. Princess No Gook who has a problem with her uterus will get pregnant with the help of Eun Soo who gave her medical attention.

V. What will happen to Eun Soo and Choi Young?

Eun Soo will be cured of the poison because of the antidote that came from Deok Heung. The door of heaven opens once again and Eun Soo was forced to return to her world because something happened there. She gets on with her life but she always thinks of Choi Young. 

But I believe that Eun Soo will go back to the Goryeo era and we are brought back to the scene in episode 1 where Choi Young went to the future to fetch her once again but this time to ask her to be with him and of course her answer will be YES.

With Jang Bin dead, Eun Soo becomes not only the royal family's doctor but also of the people and will use the antibiotic she made to cure them while Choi Young became successful in defending the country and King Gong Min up until his demise in the hands of Lee Seong Gye.

There are no specific details but records from Korean Wikipedia show that Choi Young had a wife and a concubine and he has kids (a boy and a girl) so will writer-nim make it appear that his wife is Eun Soo? I am hoping that she does. PRETTY PLEASE WRITER-NIM!
