Korean Drama Program Schedules this New Year
I got an email from someone who frequently visits my site asking if I have information on which KDramas were affected by the top 3 TV station's year-end awards show. So I decided to post the schedules for the others who didn't have a clue to the schedule changes. I hope this helps :)
- MBC
December 30, 2012: The weekend drama May Queen has recently ended and its replacement Hundred Year Inheritance will premiere on January 5, 2013, so MBC will air its year-end awards show the 2012 MBC Drama Awards tonight from 20:40-00:30 (Korean Time).
December 31, 2012: MBC will preempt its Monday-Tuesday medical drama The Horse Doctor with its major annual year-end music program the 2012 MBC Gayo Daejun from 20:50-01:20 (Korean Time).
January 1, 2013: MBC will again preempt its medical drama The Horse Doctor with a New Year's multicultural special documentary entitled My Love My Family which will start by 21:00 (Korean Time). Episode 27 of Horse Doctor will air on its regular time slot at 21:55 (Korean Time). Sorry for the confusion!

December 30, 2012: SBS will preempt its weekend drama Cheongdamdong Alice with its annual year-end awards show the 2012 SBS Entertainment Awards from 20:45-23:45 (Korean Time). SBS Entertainment awards gives recognition to its variety shows, musicals and other programs excluding the dramas.
December 31, 2012: SBS will again preempt its romance drama Cheongdamdong Alice with yet another year-end awards show the 2012 SBS Drama Awards from 20:50-24:40 (Korean Time). Episode 9 of Cheongdamdong Alice will air on January 5, 2013.
January 1, 2013: SBS returns to regular programming since episode 17 of The King of Dramas will air on its original time slot at 21:55. The drama will end next week with episode # 18 plus 1 special episode.

December 30, 2012: KBS will air tonight episode 32 of its weekend family drama My Daughter Seo Young with its original time slot of 19:55 (Korean Time).
December 31, 2012: KBS will preempt its Monday-Tuesday school drama School 2013 and air its year-end awards show the 2012 KBS Drama Awards from 20:50-00:20 (Korean Time).
January 1, 2013: KBS returns to regular programming and will air episode 9 of its school drama School 2013 with its original time slot of 22:00 (Korean Time).
- jTBC
December 31, 2012: Although I've noticed that jTBC will air replays for most of their shows, but episode 19 of the romance drama Can We Get Married? will air on its original time slot of 21:50 (Korean Time) and episode 20 on January 1, 2013.
